CEAP is a certification for an EAP specialist in the U.S. At present, the CEAP program at J.EAP is supervised by the only CEAP holder in Japan, and J.EAP is the one and only institution in this country teaching classes for CEAP. Training completed at J.EAP will also count toward CEAP professional development hours (PDH), which each CEAP is required to complete 60 hours of every 3 years.

The training department of J.EAP has received certification as a designated training school from the California State Board of Behavioral Science (BBS), known to be one of the top level institutions and administering the most difficult of license examinations for psychologists in the U.S. (certification # PCE2535). Training completed at J.EAP will count as official continuing education points toward eligibility for examination and also for continuing education for psychotherapists in California state: MFT and LCSW.

We put emphasis on bringing up professionals who would be able to immediately apply what they learned to their profession. Our instructors are practicing psychotherapists, human resource managers, and professionals in the fields of organizational development, psychiatry, occupational health medicine, social work, preventive medicine, and health insurance systems.
