Regarding EAP
Q. Please tell us about preparations before implementing services.
A. After receiving an order, preparation takes a minimum of one month. During this time, we carry out service introduction planning and establish contracts.
A very simple case would be as follows:
1. Consultation is done with JEAP to address the needs of the company, and service requirements are clarified.
2. Material for the company's internal promotion is prepared (pamphlets, intranet pages, posters, etc.)
3. EAP orientation is carried out for managers.
4. EAP orientation is carried out for employees.
Q. Please tell us about the schedule for launching intra-company activities.
A. Introduction differs between internal and external EAP. Normally, it is introduced at the time of training or stress analysis. Scheduling would depend on the number of people receiving the services.
We find that it takes at least 3 years for EAP activities to take root in an organization. Information will be provided in the first year for introductory activities, for development in the second year, and for institutionalizing in the third year.
Q. What are the costs of utilizing your services?
A. We provide consulting services that through maximum use of the characters of each company. We can propose plans based on specific budgets, but it would be best if you can contact us for details.
Q. What are the advantages of JEAP over other competitors?
A. We are a company that can provide EAP service models based on core EAP technologies that have been successfully established in corporations in the U.S. Our EA program is supervised by the only holder of the Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP-I) within Japan.
Q. How large or small would a company have to be to get the maximum cost performance out of your services?
A. A good reference would be a company of about 50 or more employees. We find that the cost of introducing EAP services and their effect balances out at over 50 employees.

Q. What is the difference between EAP and mental health care?
A. The types of consultation that can be made through EAP not only covers depression and psychosomatic disorders as in the case of mental health treatment, but also can deal with family problems, financial consultation related to personal credit card bankruptcy, and legal consultations such as involving divorces.
Also, EAP addresses issue related to workplace productivity.
Q. What type of people are the EAP consultants?
A. They are certified practitioners, either CEAP (United States Certified EAP Consultants) or clinical psychologists who have instructions from a CEAP.
